Biography
Having specialized in healthcare for the majority of her career, Jane creates nurturing environments in typically institutional spaces. Her ability to integrate an overall vision into a healing space is evident in recent projects like Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, the 292-bed United Hospital Center, as well as the 500-bed CHC International Hospital in Shanghai, China. A champion of green design, sustainable concepts used by Jane at Amery Regional Medical Center have been recognized as some of the most comprehensive for a hospital of its size, which was also a pilot project for the Green Guide for Health Care. Jane is certified as a construction documents technologist, and holds accreditations with LEED and the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications in evidence-based design. Jane joined GS&P in 2002, and is a recognized industry leader with memberships in organizations such as the International Interior Design Association, the Tennessee Interior Design Coalition and the Nashville Chapter of the US Green Building Council. Jane also serves on the board of the Nashville Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute
