Jody Vance

Biography

Jody is a Senior Operations Leader in GS&P’s Transportation market, guiding operations in Tennessee, North Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana and Kentucky. He works from our Nashville office. Jody brings more than 35 years of diverse civil engineering experience to the firm, including his work on Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) projects as well as municipal and transit projects. In addition to his transportation-related experience, Jody served as city engineer for the City of Lebanon in Tennessee for seven years, where he provided project management and contract administrative expertise on land-use planning and railroad and utility projects, and worked closely with the public, elected officials and business owners. Outside of the office, Jody is an active member of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the American Public Works Association (APWA). Jody currently serves on, and is chairman of, the City of Lebanon Transportation/Public Works Committee. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
