Biography
An industry veteran and division vice president of GS&P Water Resources, John has 25 years of project management experience leading large-scale water and wastewater engineering projects, managing business operations, developing new business opportunities and providing organizational leadership and vision. Throughout his career, John has managed the design, construction and startup of numerous multimillion dollar projects, earning him a reputation for his business acumen. His main areas of technical experience include planning, design, bidding, construction management and startup for wastewater collection systems, water distribution systems, pump stations and treatment plants, under both traditional design/bid/build delivery as well as through design-build contracting. He currently serves as program advisor for the Springfield TN sewer rehabilitation program, and as the deputy construction manager on the $1.0 billion Metro Water Services Overflow Abatement Program. John is an active member of the Georgia Association of Water Professionals. He is also a graduating member of the Leadership Gwinnett Class of 2012, and is an active member of the Water Environment Federation, the American Water Works Association and Water For People. A licensed professional engineer in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Massachusetts, John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston
