Biography

As a senior vice president, Jody heads up GS&P’s Tampa Water Resources market and brings more than 24 years of experience as an expert in the planning, design and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities, biosolids and residuals management facilities, pumping stations and collection system projects. A Tampa native, Jody is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and Tennessee. He has served as principal project manager and client service manager on numerous projects within the Tampa Bay area and throughout Florida. As a Practice Area Leader, Jody leads GS&P’s client service management and business development efforts in Florida, provides large-contract management and oversees a broad range of the firm’s Water Resources projects. He recently provided design coordination for three large pump station expansions for Tampa Bay Water’s regional water supply system and led the planning effort for sludge digester rehabilitation, upgrades and enhancements for the 143-mgd Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant in Miami-Dade, Florida. Jody earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in environmental engineering from the University of Central Florida. He is a member of the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and serves on the WEF Residuals and Biosolids Committee – Bioenergy Technology and Sustainable Residuals Use Subcommittees. Jody is currently the Chair of the Florida Water Environment Association’s (FWEA) Wastewater Process Committee and is a reviewer for the WEF Special Publication titled ‘Moving Towards Resource Recovery Facilities
