Biography
Kenneth A. Priest, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, is a senior vice president for GS&P’s Nashville Design Studio with more than 35 years of experience in healthcare design. As an owner, he commands the vast resources necessary to immediately respond to any need that arises during a project. Ken is intimately involved in all phases of project development, and closely monitors the client relationship for continued satisfaction with our team’s responsiveness and service. Known for his successful, responsive solutions that bring value to his clients, Ken is responsible for executing all contracts as a part of the design effort, as well as managing the overall quality of the project, overseeing the scheduling of resources and personnel throughout the life cycle of the project, and maintaining the firm's standard of excellence across the board. He has served as principal-in-charge on a vast range of high-profile healthcare efforts over the past three decades, including the award-winning design of the Levinson Heart Hospital at CJW Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, the new 300-bed replacement facility for United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia, and the master plan, renovation and 220,000-square-foot addition for Miami Valley Hospital South in Dayton, Ohio. Ken is a LEED Accredited Professional and is registered in numerous states from Virginia to California. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Tennessee.
