Biography
A strategic problem solver, Louis is focused on managing urban design projects with the unique needs of the community in mind. His experience spans seven years and 45 projects, and touches on multiple scales of urban issues including site design, community planning, corridor planning and sustainability planning. Louis’ rich knowledge of tactical design allows him to assist communities in innovative ways as they strive to improve quality of life and maintain strict project budgets. Louis is skilled at creating project presentations, facilitating public workshops, and providing graphic and written support to convey design concepts. He also remains well-versed in the ebb and flow of industry innovation through his roles as adjunct instructor for the University of Kentucky’s Department of Landscape Architecture and president of the Kentucky chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
