Biography
Melissa leads GS&P’s St. Louis office and is a senior water resources engineer with 15 years of experience in diverse roles as a technical specialist, project manager and community outreach leader. She has worked extensively with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to achieve compliance with an EPA consent decree by reducing the inflow of stormwater from private properties into the district’s sanitary sewer system. With a passion for sustaining clean and reliable sources of water for future generations, Melissa has also worked on the water resources elements of transportation systems and site design and development, including erosion control, collection systems for water and wastewater, detention storage, floodplain management and hydraulic and hydrologic analysis. She is a certified floodplain manager and a licensed professional engineer in Missouri and Illinois
