Penny J. Houchens

Biography

Penny’s artistic nature is evident throughout her impressive resume of projects; however, it is her continuous passion for healthcare design inspired by clinical process improvements that is her hallmark. Penny’s unique vision is a product of her Lean training, 24 years of experience and confident leadership style. Clients praise Penny for her unfailing commitment, methodical design process and transformative interior environments. A senior interior designer with GS&P’s Nashville Design Studio, Penny holds accreditations with LEED as well as the National Council for Interior Qualification. She is a member of the International Interior Design Association, and is a licensed interior designer in the state of Florida. Penny’s client list includes UF Health, Kaiser Permanente, Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, Flagler Hospital, Baptist Health of Northeast Florida and Methodist Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
