Biography
Ranzy is a Senior Vice President for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Services within GS&P’s Transportation market. Based out of our Jackson, Mississippi, office, he is focused on business development, strategic practices, and the growth and sustainability of the firm’s ITS practice. Ranzy’s 23 years of industry experience covers a broad range of ITS service areas, including ITS program management and oversight, Transportation Systems Management and Operations, Advanced Traveler Information Systems development and performance measuring. He also offers a wealth of experience in establishing partnerships for resource sharing and data integration between ITS programs and various emergency and transportation management agencies and has directed the implementation of innovative solutions such as Video Distribution Management Systems and automated and connected vehicle technologies for multiple DOTs and clients. Outside of the office, Ranzy is active in the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) as well as multiple State Chapters. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
