Biography

Skip is a Principal and Director of Healthcare Services for GS&P’s Jacksonville, Florida office. His more than 35 years of experience includes rural and urban community hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, imaging centers, cancer centers, emergency departments, women's birthing facilities, skilled nursing and hospice facilities, medical office buildings and research laboratories. He generally serves as project team leader for his client’s projects, and stays engaged from kick-off to occupancy. Skip is passionate about client service, quality, teamwork, and design excellence that is complemented by his commitment to innovation, patient safety, operationally efficient, and economically sustainable healthcare facilities based on the principals of evidenced-based design. Skip is a Chapter Board member of the American Institute of Architects, member of the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health, certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is a LEED Accredited Professional
