Michael K. Prescott

Biography

Mr. Michael K. Prescott serves as Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and General Counsel at GTECH Corporation. Mr. Prescott is responsible for managing and overseeing all legal matters for GTECH Corporation, including legal strategy, legal compliance, litigation, regulatory matters, as well as global security. He served as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Gtech Holdings Corp. Mr. Prescott has more than 15 years experience in corporate law. He served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at GTECH Corporation, since joining it in 2001. In this capacity, he was principal legal advisor for corporate transactions including, among others, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances, as well as managing and implementing strategy for all litigation and regulatory matters for GTECH and its worldwide subsidiaries. Prior to joining GTECH Corporation, Mr. Prescott served as a Corporate Attorney at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP, where, for several years, he served as outside legal counsel to GTECH. Mr. Prescott earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Northwestern University, with a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law.
