Biography
Dr. Brian J. Soller, Ph.D., has been Vice President and General Manager of Lightwave Division at Luna Innovations Incorporated since April 2014. Dr. Soller served as Vice President of Marketing at Micron Optics, Inc. since March 2013. Dr. Soller is responsible for leading marketing efforts that help Micron Optics expand its growth through new product initiatives, market penetration strategies, customer outreach, new business development activities and sales - channel strategy. He has numerous publications in the areas of precision optical metrology, polarization effects in guided waves, scattering and guided wave interactions near surfaces and molecular spectroscopy. He has authored numerous publications and has several patents pending. Dr. Soller is a Goldwater Scholar who studied BS degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and he conducted doctoral studies as a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellow in Optical Science at the University of Rochester in New York.
Research Interest
He spent time with Luna in product management, applications engineering and sales force development roles.
