Wesley Ellison

Biography

Wes has more than 17 years experience as a business owner and entrepreneur, including the development and construction of commercial and residential real estate. A graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Wes has owned his own surveying company and has been involved in the ownership and operation of Flea Markets across the South & Southeast, including locations in North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas. He is directly responsible for the ongoing development and operations for the Lafayette Flea Market in Lafayette, LA. Wes developed and constructed the Lafayette Flea Market in 2001 and has grown the market into a 500 unit operating business with annual revenues approaching $1M. Wes returned to his home state of South Carolina in 2011 and took on an ownership position at Hamby Catering & Events as President. Wes brings his business expertise and family connection to the Hamby team, as he is the great nephew of Mrs. Frances Ellison Hamby, founder of Hamby Catering & Events.
