Biography

Allen is a Partner in Hancock Askew’s Savannah office and has over 10 years of experience in public accounting. His primary focus lies in providing financial statement audits, reviews and compilations for a variety of industries, including both publicly traded and privately held companies. Allen also performs business valuation and transaction advisory services and has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, estate and gift tax, buy-sell agreements, purchase price allocations and impairment tests. Before beginning his career at Hancock Askew, Allen graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Allen also serves as Treasurer of the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire, Inc. Allen decided to pursue a career in public accounting for the opportunities to work with clients in a variety of industries. With every engagement, he strives to find new ways to add value and help his clients succeed. Outside of the office, Allen and his wife are members of Bible Baptist Church in Savannah. They have two sons and enjoy traveling and going to the beach.
