Biography

Carolyn has over 15 years experience serving the business and accounting needs of individuals, partnerships and corporations. She serves clients in the areas of tax, financial planning and management services. Carolyn has experience with estate and gift tax planning and has been active in the firm's Cost Segregation division. Carolyn began her career in Arthur Andersen’s Atlanta office in 1999. She began working for Deloitte in 2002 in the Private Client Advisor Group. Carolyn moved to Savannah and joined Hancock Askew in 2004. Carolyn received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters of Tax Accounting from The University of Alabama. Deciding to be an accounting major was an easy decision; Carolyn’s father and brother are both CPAs. “Accounting runs in the family.” She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She currently serves as the Treasurer for Rotarians Play It Forward, member of the Savannah Estate Planning Council, serves on the Planned Giving Council of Armstrong State University and served as past Treasurer for the Rape Crisis Center
