Ralph Hargrove

Biography

  Mobile native Ralph A. Hargrove, President and CEO, founded Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in 1995. Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is a full-service engineering, project and construction management, and technical services firm with nine offices across the eastern half of the United States. When starting the Company, Ralph envisioned a Team of the best engineering and construction professionals who would maintain long-term customer and community relationships. With more than 850 Teammates today, the Company has become the second largest engineering firm in Alabama and is Alabama’s largest privately held engineering firm. Recognized nationally for providing high-quality services to the pulp and paper, chemical, pharmaceutical, refining, power, oil and gas, and government and infrastructure industries, Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is an affiliate of organizations such as the Engineering & Construction Contracting Association, the Construction Industry Institute, the American Society of Safety Engineers, the Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Associated General Contractors of America. Hargrove Teammates serve their customers well while actively supporting and leading local programs, charities, and development boards in their communities. They mentor future engineers by sponsoring engineering and science programs, internships, and scholarship programs such as Distinguished Young Women, which began in Mobile years ago. Ralph is a graduate of Mobile’s own John S. Shaw High School and a member of Leadership Alabama’s Class XXI, and he serves on the Executive Advisory Committee to the Engineering & Construction Contracting Association. Ralph and his wife, Kimberly, reside and enjoy active lives in Mobile. They have a daughter (Katrina), a son (Corey), and two grandchildren.
