F. Nicholas Grasberger

Biography

 Mr. F. Nicholas Grasberger, III, also known as Nick, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Harsco Corporation since August 1,2014. Mr. Grasberger has been Interim President of Harsco Metals & Minerals Segment at Harsco Corporation since July 16, 2015 and also has been its Interim President of Harsco Rail Group since August 16, 2016. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Harsco Corporation since April 22, 2013 until November 2014. He served as Principal Accounting Officer at Harsco Corporation since November 15, 2013 until May 23,2014. Mr. Grasberger served as Chief Operating Officer at Harsco Corporation from April 8, 2014 to August 1, 2014. He served as the Managing Director of Operations at Fenner Plc and served as its Managing Director of Precision Polymers Division. Prior to Fenner, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Armstrong Building Products B.V. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Armstrong Holdings Inc. since January 1, 2005. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Armstrong Building Products & Asi at Armstrong World Industries, Inc. from April 2009 to November 2009. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Armstrong World Industries Inc., a subsidiary of Armstrong Holdings Inc. from January 1, 2005 to April 1, 2009. Mr. Grasberger served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kennametal Inc. of Kennametal Hertel AG from August 2000 to December 31, 2004. He restructured the finance function and improved its effectiveness while serving as a key member of Kennametal's leadership team that restored discipline and investor confidence. Mr. Grasberger played a leadership role in improving Kennametal's portfolio and accelerating growth through a series of acquisitions and divestitures in North America and Europe. Before his service at Kennametal, he was employed at H.J. Heinz Company for eleven years, where his last assignment was Corporate Treasurer from 1997 to 2000. He began his career in the Treasury Department at USX Corporation. He serves as Trustee of Lancaster General Health. He serves as Director of Harsco Corporation since April 29, 2014. He served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Kennametal Hertel AG. Mr. Grasberger holds a BBA in Business from the University of Notre Dame in 1985 and an MBA from the Joseph Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
