Biography
Mr. Peter Francis Minan, also known as Pete, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Harsco Corporation since November 11, 2014. Mr. Minan joined Harsco with an extensive background in global financial management acquired through a nearly 30-year career with KPMG, where his roles included National Managing Partner, U.S. Audit Practice and Partner in Charge, Washington/Baltimore Audit Practice. He also served as Global Lead Partner for several multinational Fortune 500 industrial and consumer audit clients. Mr. Minan served as Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management & Internal Audit at Computer Sciences Corporation and also served as its Vice President of Internal Audit since March 5, 2012. Mr. Minan manages the Internal Audit organization across Computer Sciences Corporation and is responsible for the development and execution of the annual internal audit plan adopted by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board of Directors. Prior to joining CSC, he was with KPMG LLP for 28 years where he held a variety of leadership positions in audit, accounting and operations. Most recently, he was partner-in-charge for KPMG's U.S. Climate Change and Sustainability Assurance Services and served as global lead audit partner for Fortune 500 multinational companies. He was national managing partner, U.S. audit and partner-in-charge of KPMG's Washington, DC/Baltimore audit practice. In these positions, he was responsible for leading multinational audit engagements, as well as running businesses and business units within KPMG. He also serves on the school's advisory board. Mr. Minan is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor's degree of science from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce.
