Biography

Emily Bogart is a critical thinker and enjoys using her skills to guide clients through the best possible course of action with their workers’ compensation claims. During law school, Emily served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Education and was a Guardian ad Litem for Richland County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates. She made the dean’s list multiple times throughout her course of study. After law school, Emily spent a year and a half working for her alma mater, the University of South Carolina School of Law, developing The Coastal Law Field Lab with her law school mentor. A summer program for law students across the country, the field lab offers training modules in Coastal Law, Climate Change and The Coast, and Coastal Energy Law. She is a member of the Young Affiliates of the Mint, a group of young professionals who support the Mint Museum through cultural, social, leadership, and fundraising activities and events. Emily discovered her favorite vacation spot, Ischia, Italy while backpacking across Europe with two friends the summer after her undergraduate graduation. Emily’s other hobbies include running, yoga, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
