Angie Grant

Biography

 Whether she's reviewing schematics, schooling her coworkers on the golf course, or cheering on her alma mater – the Kansas Jayhawks — Angie Grant will have a smile on her face. As the director of engineering standards and an associate vice president, Angie oversees the technical tools, resources, and ongoing training offered to keep our employees performing at the top of their game. A licensed PE in architectural engineering, Angie started her career with us in 2004 designing and reviewing fire protection systems and building codes before switching her focus to developing project standards and training for Henderson. In addition to her commitment to quality engineering, Angie also leads Henderson’s women’s network, Empow[HER] to help propel women within the company through collaboration and connections. She also regularly steps up to promote STEM skills and serve as a mentor to students who are interested in engineering. When she’s not working, Angie can be found at charity runs around the city, hanging out with her husband and two children, or dreaming about a tropical destination where she can unwind with a book and a drink in her hand.
