Biography

 Leaving the glistening shores of Hawaii must’ve been tough, but prime opportunities would bring Jeff Leathers, vice president, to settle on the mainland. Ever since his high school days in Oahu, Jeff has been intrigued with engineering. And of course that was before the high-tech world of AutoCAD/Revit and the digital approach we take today in our industry. His old-school roots of drafting with T-squares and pencils are a tell-tale sign he knows just about everything about the foundations of mechanical engineering. And it’s his expertise in grocery design that has taken him across the United States and into several countries. Jeff joined the Henderson family in 1995, and today he is one of our capital expenditure experts in refrigeration design. When he’s not answering maintenance issues or retrofitting refrigeration equipment, you can find Jeff vacationing in the sun and surf back in the Hawaiian Islands.
