Mark Chrisman

Biography

 Mark Chrisman is a special kind of smart. Not only does he love to learn, but he also naturally teaches those around him. His clients call him relatable; it’s one of the many reasons why they keep calling. As our director of code consulting and co-leader of our healthcare practice, Mark works primarily in critical spaces with life safety systems. The responsibility is intense, but Mark is always prepared with a solution and positivity. Among other talents, Mark provides code and life safety consulting, fire modeling, fire suppression and fire alarm design services for a variety of healthcare, clinical, and office buildings nationwide. His coworkers call him "Rain Man" for his uncanny ability to recall specific codes, sections, and versions during casual conversations. This associate vice president has his masters in engineering and will complete his PhD later this year. He regularly travels the country to bring his expertise to client projects, and he is known for his continued focus on sustainable building practices. Don’t let his smarts fool you; he’s creatively talented as well. His party trick is that he can spout off the most recent code updates and bust out killer dance moves in the same breath.
