Brian Lawrence

Biography

    Brian Lawrence was elected Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Hill-Rom effective December, 2010. Mr. Lawrence joined Hill-Rom from GE Healthcare, where he was Chief Technology Officer for Life Support Solutions and held a number of other leadership and innovation positions in GE's Global Research Center. Prior to GE, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Extend Optical Systems Corporation and Senior Vice President of Research and Development and Chief Technology Officer for Molecular OptoElectronics Corporation. Mr. Lawrence holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a PhD from the Center for Research and Education in Optics and Lasers (CREOL) at the University of Central Florida.
