Carlos Alonso

Biography

    Carlos Alonso was appointed Senior Vice President and President, Hill-Rom International in April 2015. Before joining Hill-Rom, Mr. Alonso served as the President and CEO of the Esaote Group, a medical imaging leader based in Genova, Italy. During his tenure at the Esaote Group, he transformed an organization of disparate business units into a cohesive multinational company with highly effective and unified R&D, commercial, and operational functions. Prior to the Esaote Group, Mr. Alonso served as the CEO of Esteve Pharmaceuticals based in Barcelona, Spain, and held various leadership roles of increasing responsibility with Baxter International over the course of 15 years, including serving as Global President of the Renal Division. Mr. Alonso earned a Master of Science degree in chemical process automation from the Instituto Quimico de Sarriá in Barcelona, Spain, and a Master’s degree in management from IESE – Universidad de Navarra, also in Barcelona, Spain.
