Biography
Francisco Canal was elected senior vice president and president, Surgical Solutions in June 2017. Mr. Canal joined Hill-Rom in October 2015 as president, Hill-Rom Europe, and has played a key role in that region’s growth. Before joining Hill-Rom, Mr. Canal held several senior executive roles at Baxter, Gambro and, most recently, Smith and Nephew. He has lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and holds an MBA from IMD in Switzerland, a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Institut Quimic de Sarria in Barcelona and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelon
