Ian Choudri

Biography

    Mr. Ian Choudri has been Senior Vice President and National Rail & Transit Business Development Director at HNTB Corporation since June 2016. Mr. Choudri is a handson business development executive with nearly three decades of experience in sales and marketing. He also is a Seasoned Project Manager who has successfully delivered complex public infrastructure and transportation capital works programs valued between $140 million and $1.5 billion — with teams of up to 230 people in NorthAmerica, Asia, Middle East and Europe. Mr. Choudri’s technical expertise includes ports terminals automations, container handling applications, terminal operating systems, rail signaling, rolling stock, traction power, rail systemsrelated cyber security and train control applications.  His extensive experience includes limiting risk and establishing creative strategies for winning new business, optimizing internal operations, maximizing financial returns, and guaranteeing high quality external customer service.  Prior to joining HNTB, Mr. Choudri served another consulting firm as Vice President and Global Business Development Director and was responsible global sales and marketing strategy development and implementation. He is an active member of the American Railroad Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association Committee 39 (Positive Train Control). He holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering.
