Biography
Dr. Jeffs currently serves as a Senior Advisor to United Therapeutics Corp., where he worked for 18 years, most recently as President and co-CEO.
Research Interest
He has over 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in R&D, clinical development, regulatory and medical affairs. While at United Therapeutics, Dr. Jeffs led the clinical development, regulatory approval and commercialization of six rare disease products. Prior to joining United Therapeutics, he held positions in clinical development at Amgen, Inc. and Burroughs Wellcome Co. Dr. Jeffs currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Axsome Therapeutics and Dova Pharmaceuticals. He received a B.A. in Chemistry from Duke University and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of North Carolina.
