Biography
Mr. John C. Staley, also known as Jack, was Managing Partner of Lake Michigan Area of Ernst & Young LLP from 1985 to June 2001. Mr. Staley joined Ernst & Young's New York office in 1965 and transferred to Chicago in 1966. He served as European Tax Practice Coordinator in Brussels, Belgium, at their Continental European Headquarters, from 1975 to1977, returning to Chicago in 1977. He has been the Chairman of Hospira Inc. since January 2012. He has been Chairman of the Board for Hospira Adelaide Pty Ltd. since January 2012. Mr. Staley has been an Independent Director of Hospira Inc. since April 30, 2004. He has been a Director of Mattersight Corporation since August 2002 and Director/Founding Director of Hospira Adelaide Pty Ltd. since 2004. He serves as a Director at Northern Illinois Gas Company. Mr. Staley has been an Independent Trustee of CenterPoint Properties Trust, a real estate investment trust, since November 1, 2002.
