Gwynette P. Lacy

Biography

Dr. Lacy has been affiliated with the Howard University School of Business for over 30 years as a faculty member, administrator, researcher, advisor and trainer. She has also held several administrative positions at Howard: Associate Provost, Senior Academic Administrator in the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Vice President for Administration. Dr. Lacy has also served as Assistant Dean for the School of Business. She is presently the Chair of the Department of Management, Labor Relations and Hospitality, School of Business, serving a seventh term (21 years). She also served as the Director of the Institute for Labor-Management Relations at the School of Business, where, among other duties, she directed a graduate MBA program designed to train professionals in the field of labor relations.
