Biography
Dr. Elissa Ozanne’s training is in engineering, primarily in the areas of decision analysis and risk assessment. Her research focuses on the evaluation and implementation of methods to improve patient and provider decision making. Her recent research includes studies of risk comprehension and communication in the setting of breast cancer decision-making, cost-effectiveness analyses of novel interventions, and the design and implementation of risk assessment and decision support techniques. Her research has been funded by NCI, American Cancer Society, and the Komen Foundation.
