Biography
Eric Hamann joined ICF in 2005 and serves as the global head of Corporate Development with responsibility for ICF’s M&A and strategic alliance programs. Since joining ICF, he has helped to shape the strategic direction of the firm, sourced and closed 17 acquisitions, and played a lead role in the successful completion of ICF’s initial public offering in 2006 and follow-on equity offering in 2009, raising more than $56 and $87 million in gross proceeds, respectively. Prior to joining ICF, which included stints at both high growth and Fortune 50 companies, Eric held critical roles in corporate strategy, M&A, investor relations, and financial planning and analysis. Over the course of his career, Eric has closed nearly 60 transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, and joint ventures, with combined revenue of more than $14 billion and ranging in size from $5 million to $7 billion. Eric was named 2010 Corporate Executive Dealmaker of the Year by the Association for Corporate Growth, National Capital Region, and was a Finalist in 2014. Eric also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and holds a bachelor’s degree from Creighton University.
