Biography
Morozov earned his PhD with concentration in Public Finance and Budgeting from University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2009. He is an active member of national and international academic and professional societies such as American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), The Association for Budgeting and Financial Management (ABFM), Western Social Science Association (WSSA), Public Management Research Association (PMRA), and Association of Government Accountants (AGA). He held elected positions in academic and professional organizations (e.g. Western Social Science Association [co-chair of the Public Finance Section], Association of Government Accountants [member of the AGA Board of directors in the position of Director of Education]).
Research Interest
Dr. Morozov’ research and teaching interests include Public and Business Administration, Budgeting, Financial Management, Strategic Planning and Management, and Comparative Budgeting and Financial Management. He published in national and international academic outlets such as Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting, and Financial Management, The NISPAcee Journal of Public Administration and Policy, International Public Management Review, International Journal of Organizations and Behavior, and Handbook of Unethical Work Behavior: Implications for Individual Well-being. His work on strategic management appears in the leading textbooks in the field (e.g. Strategy: Winning in the Marketplace: Core Concepts, Analytical Tools, Cases, (2005), Strategic Management: Theory and Practice, 2e, (2005), Crafting and Executing Strategy (2007).
