Biography
David V. Beard, Ph.D. Professor of Computer Science and Program Coordinator Ph.D. Computer Science, University of Michigan M.S. Computer Science, University of Michigan B.A. Math with Computing Emphasis and Philosophy, Hope I have been at ISU since Fall, 1995 after having been on the faculty at UNC-CH for a decade and receiving my PhD in Computer Science from University of Michigan. I have taught a number of CS and CIS courses including CS1181 Computer Science and Programming I, CS1182 Computer Science and programming II, CS2282 Advanced Programming, CS3321 Software Engineering, CS4499/5599 Reactors and Simulation, CIS4407/5507 Database Management Systems, and CIS4499 Human Computer Ineraction.
