Dr. Xiao Xia (jessica) Xie

Biography

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at Illinois Institute of Technology since Aug 2014. I graduated from Auburn University in 2014 and my Ph.D advisor is Prof. Wenxian Shen My research interests include dynamical aspects of reaction diffusion equations, integro-differential equations, and stochastic partial differential equations, and some interdisciplinary research. I am on the job market and I am interested in a tenure-track assistant professor or postdoctoral position.

Research Interest

Integro-differential equations, dynamical systems and their applications in biology and ecology.
