Biography
Dr. Tarp's areas of specialization are the Spanish Middle Ages and Baroque. Current research interests include the grotesque, the Spanish prose romance, and narratology in the context of the development of prose fiction. Dr. Tarp is a certified medical interpreter and a qualified legal interpreter. She works closely with the department to teach Medical Spanish to future PAs. She joined the ISU PA Program in 2011.
