Biography

Dr. Baron is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP). Dr. Baron is completing her Teaching Nursing Certificate at the University of Utah and expects to complete the certificate 12/2014. Dr. Baron has more than 9 years previous RN experience as a Staff Nurse in Critical Care, ER, and NICU in California; Staff Nurse experience in NICU at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, Idaho Falls; Infusion nurse in home health care; and Special Care Nursery at Madison Memorial Hospital, Rexburg. Her FNP Advance Practice experience was at the Upper Valley Community Health Services, St. Anthony, Idaho where she treated patients across the life span from newborn to geriatric ages. Dr. Baron is Spanish speaking. Dr. Baron completed her Associate Degree, Nursing at Chaffey College, Alta Loma, CA; BSN at Brigham Young University- Idaho; and her Doctor of Nursing Practice, DNP at the University of Utah College of Nursing. Dr. Baron's DNP project was "Preconception Health Education and Website Development for BYU-I students".
