Christopher A. O’herlihy

Biography

Mr. Christopher A. O’Herlihy, also known as Chris, has been the Vice Chairman of Illinois Tool Works Inc since August 2015. and as its Executive Vice President of Food Equipment Segment since November 1, 2010. Mr. O’Herlihy served with ITW and served various roles of increasing responsibility, including as Group President of both ITW's Food Equipment and Polymers & Fluids segments for 25 years. Mr. O’Herlihy has been Independent Director of Masco Corporation since December 17, 2013. He serves as a Director of the National Restaurant Association, an industry trade association. He holds an Undergraduate Degree from University College Cork in Ireland and a Master's Degree from the University of Massachusetts.
