Jeff Stonehocker

Biography

Jeff is responsible for the development of Incite’s energy management portal and manages the platforms through which Incite conducts its business. Prior to joining Incite Energy, Jeff managed the IT department for Champion Energy Services – a Calpine Company. Earlier positions include managing a teradata data warehouse team for Continental Airlines, leading a reporting and analytics team at Reliant Energy, working as an embedded software engineer for Carrier Access Corporation, and working for Andersen Consulting as a technology consultant.

Research Interest

• Oversaw the design, development, and implementation of corporate information systems, applications, infrastructure systems and telephony/communications. • Responsible for the development of IT processes regarding on/off-boarding of employees and IT policy regarding use of Incite’s IT property and services. • Worked with SaaS vendors such as SalesForce.com, Twillio, Azure and Amazon AWS to best utilize their services. • Deployed in-house infrastructure including a VMWare cluster with EqualLogic SAN and redundant internet connections. • Developed IT solutions and products geared for use by retail energy providers and energy brokers. • Designed notification systems used to inform vested parties of real-time energy market events in order for them to avoid cost or meet market obligations. • Developed on-premise equipment used for monitoring electrical usage at the meter and/or to react to real-time market events by signaling the event to the customers or by changing equipment set points. • Created energy market data warehouse used for the analysis of market trends as well as accounts receivable monitoring.
