Health Sciences Education, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis Certificate in Coronal Polishing, IU School of Dentistry Certificate in Fluoride Application, IU School of Dentistry Michelle Bissonette Priest, EFDA, CDA, BS, holds the position of Clinical Director Dental Assisting in the Department of Periodontics and Allied Dental Programs at Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD). Ms. Priest received her Certificates in Dental Assisting and Expanded Restorative Functions from the IUSD Dental Assisting Program in 2002. In 2006, she graduated from IUPUI with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences Education. Ms. Priest began teaching part-time at Ivy Tech Anderson Dental Assisting Program where she taught Preventive Dentistry and Nutrition and co-taught labs for Radiology, Clinical Science and Dental Materials. She came to IUSD as full-time faculty in the IUSD Dental Assisting Program in July 2007. Ms. Priest is currently the course director for Clinical Science I and II and is a lab instructor for Expanded Restorative Functions. She is certified in Coronal Polishing and Caries Prevention Procedures for Dental Auxiliaries and teaches laboratory sessions for the Department of Continuing Education at Indiana University School of Dentistry.
