Susan L. Zunt

Biography

Susan Zunt, DDS, MS is a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and the Chair of the Department of Oral Pathology, Medicine and Radiology. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry. She received her MS degree from Indiana University in Oral Pathology with a minor in Oral Medicine. Dr. Zunt is a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, and is past President of the AAOMP. Dr. Zunt is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, and the International Association of Oral Pathologists. Dr. Zunt maintains an active practice in surgical & clinical oral pathology through The Center for Oral Diagnosis and Treatment. Her research and practice interests include oral manifestations of systemic disease, mucocutaneous disease such as lichen planus and mucous membrane pemphigoid, salivary gland disorders including xerostomia, oral cancer and precancer.
