Christianah Ogunlesi

Biography

Christianah Y. Ogunlesi, MD is the Medical Director of the Center for Mental Health and the Director of Outpatient Psychiatry Services at Interfaith Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Ogunlesi obtained her Medical Degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria, and completed her general and child and adolescent psychiatric residencies at Harlem Hospital Center, New York, NY. She also served as the Chief Resident during her Fellowship. During her residency training, she received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award on account of scoring in the 99th percentile among all U.S. psychiatry residents in the PRITE exams two years in a row. She also enrolled in the New York Psychoanalytic Institute, New York, and received her certification in Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from there in 2006.
