Patricia Ravert Phd Rn

Biography

Ms. Ravert has served on the South Region Board since January 2013 and currently serves on the Clinical Excellence Committee of the Intermountain Board. Ms. Ravert became the dean of the College of Nursing at Brigham Young University (BYU) in August 2012 after serving as an associate dean for several years. In 1975 she completed her undergraduate degree in nursing at BYU and began a professional career with Intermountain Healthcare for over 20 years. She returned to BYU and obtained a master’s degree in nursing administration. In 2004 she completed a doctorate degree from the University of Utah. She joined the BYU faculty in 1999 and taught senior nursing courses as well as served as the coordinator of the Nursing and Learning Center and Clinical Simulation Laboratory.
