Robert Allen

Biography

Rob Allen is an accomplished healthcare executive with over 25 years leadership experience including Region Vice President, Region Operations Officer, CEO and Administrator in highly competitive rural and urban markets. He re-joined Intermountain Healthcare in 2007. He has served as CEO of hospitals in Wyoming, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Utah. He has broad experience leading in a variety of settings including for-profit, not-for-profit, established hospitals, new acquisitions, and start-up endeavors. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, received his MBA from Utah State University and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Operations Management from Brigham Young University. He is a two time recipient of Community Health System’s Outstanding Achievement Award. Rob has actively participated in community and healthcare organizations including serving twice as the chairman of the Wyoming Hospital Association, serving on various Chamber of Commerce Boards, and numerous other foundation and service boards. He currently serves on the boards of the Utah Hospital Association, the Utah TeleHealth Network and the People’s Health Clinic.
