Biography
35 years of engineering experience including high rise buildings, post-tensioned concrete, general commercial and residential design and construction. Formerly employed with The Raiser Organization, Freyssinet Corporation and the Prescon Corporation, Tom Clark has been President of Ironwood Engineering Company and Ironwood Construction Company since 1982, implementing design/build solutions for a wide variety of civil and structural engineering projects and repairs. Mr. Clark is a working member and on the Steering Committee of the F.E.M.A. sponsored Urban Search and Rescue, CA Task Force IV, based in Oakland, CA., with hands-on experience in the Loma Prieta and Northridge earthquakes, the World Trade Center Collapse and hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Mr. Clark is a FEMA/DHS instructor for the Urban Search and Rescue, Structures Specialist I and the Structures Specialist II training as well as a FEMA/DHS Rigging and a Heavy Equipment Training Field Instructor specializing in the training of rescue, fire and military personnel from around the world.
