Douglas B. Kline

Biography

 Douglas B. Kline is Chief Financial Officer for Jackson Healthcare. Kline is responsible for coordinating all financial and accounting operations for Jackson, including the start-up of new businesses.  In addition, he oversees all prospective acquisition activities, treasury management, risk management and negotiations with Jackson's lenders.  Since joining Jackson in 2005, he has managed the growth of Jackson's revenue from $100 million to $800 million.  With more than 30 years of progressive financial and operations experience, Kline was named a 2009 finalist for Chief Financial Officer of the Year by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Prior to joining Jackson, Kline served as Chief Financial Officer for an equipment rental and sales firm in Jacksonville, Florida, where he helped transform its $750-thousand profit into a $40-million profit.  In addition, he was responsible for all accounting, financial analysis, internal controls, budgeting and strategic planning for the company. Kline graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting.  He also earned a master's degree in business administration from Florida State University.  A Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Florida, Kline spent the first seven years of his career in public accounting with Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
