Timothy C. Scheve

Biography

Mr. Scheve has over 25 years of experience and leadership in the securities industry. Since becoming President and CEO in 2007, he has spearheaded Janney’s tremendous growth and leadership by ensuring that the Firm’s professionals provide clients with an exceptional level of service and knowledgeable advice. Under his tenure, Janney has grown its client base, successfully expanded existing relationships and opened several new regional offices. Prior to coming to Janney, Mr. Scheve served as Senior Executive Vice President at Legg Mason, as well as President and CEO of the former Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc., Legg Mason’s broker-dealer, where he managed a division with approximately $1 billion in revenue.
