David Tripi

Biography

David Tripi is Global Head of Operations at Janssen Healthcare Innovation where he is part of a multi-disciplinary group working toward the goal of propelling the company to become the leader in the healthcare solution business. Prior to the launch of the JHI team, David was with the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies for more than 15 years. In 2007, David moved to San Diego, California, as the Chief Operating Officer of the Pharmaceutical Research & Development (R&D) site where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of drug development compounds. David joined ALZA Corporation in 2003 as the leader of the R&D finance team where he led the forecasting and budgeting activities for their drug delivery business. Prior to these experiences he worked in the field sales organization for Ortho Biotech in San Francisco, California, the operations organization for OMJ Pharmaceuticals in San Germán, Puerto Rico, and the Johnson & Johnson finance organization in Raritan, New Jersey. David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Administration from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
