Biography
Ms. Carol Lynn Messer has been a Vice President and General Counsel of J.M. Huber Corporation (also known as, Huber (J.M.) Corp.) since January 2011. Ms. Messer joined J.M. Huber Corporation in 2003 and served as its Vice President of Legal for Huber’s natural resources businesses, where she played a key role at Huber Energy. She served as Associate General Counsel at CP Kelco and Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) in Atlanta, Georgia since 2006. She provided legal guidance for several major transactions, including the divestiture of HEM’s Kaolin business. She also oversaw legal support for the global expansion of CP Kelco and HEM. Prior to joining Huber, She is a distinguished legal career in the natural gas and power industry spanning more than 20 years. She served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel of El Paso Corporation. She served as Vice President and General Counsel of Engage Energy US. She worked at Engage Energy US for 12 years. She was Employed at Westcoast Energy, Inc. She has been Director at Schurz Communications Inc. since June 26, 2017. She served as Member of Management Board at the Huber Engineered Woods since August 2015. She served as Member of Management Board at the CP Kelco since May 2011. She serves on the Huber Management Council. She received her JD from the University of Alabama and a BS in Accounting from Auburn University.
