Andrew C. Traeger

Biography

 Andrew C. Traeger is Senior Vice President & Finance Director, Worldwide Financial Services Division, a position he has held since August 2011. He oversees the accounting, finance, and strategic planning functions, including credit and insurance business reporting, tax and treasury accounting, financial planning and analysis, accounting services, and financial systems. Traeger joined John Deere Financial in 1998 as a Senior Accountant and quickly assumed roles of increasing complexity and responsibility, including Manager, Financial Forecasting; Manager, Financial Reporting; and Manager, Financial and Regulatory Reporting. In 2007, he was named Finance Director, Reporting, Tax, Treasury Accounting, and Accounting Services. Traeger earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Traeger is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Iowa Society of CPAs. In 2011, he received designation as a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is also a member of the board of directors for the Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Iowa, Inc. John Deere Financial is one of the largest providers of financial services to agricultural and construction customers, supporting John Deere around the world with more than 1.7 million accounts and a managed worldwide portfolio of nearly $39 billion. In addition to providing receivables and equipment financing to help facilitate the sale of John Deere agricultural, construction, forestry, turf, and utility equipment, John Deere Financial offers revolving payment-based solutions and crop input financing. Today, John Deere Financial has approximately 2,200 employees worldwide and offers retail finance programs in more than 50 countries.
