John D. Lagemann

Biography

 John D. Lagemann is Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing for the Agriculture & Turf Division, a position he has held since September 2012. In this position, John is responsible for sales and go-to-market activities in the Americas and Australia. Lagemann joined John Deere as a marketing representative at the Kansas City Sales Branch in 1982. He worked with dealers and customers in various field assignments at the Kansas City Sales Branch until 1994. He was named Manager, Factory Marketing at John Deere Harvester Works in 1994 and became manager of John Deere's operations in Australia, New Zealand, and East Asia in 1999. Lagemann was named Vice President of Sales for the United States and Canada in 2002. In 2009, he was appointed Vice President, Ag & Turf Sales and Marketing for the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand (Region 4). Lagemann earned his bachelor's degree in feed science and management and his MBA from Kansas State University. He is a director of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and a member of the AEM Ag Sector Board, a member of Kansas State Dean's Business Advisory Council, the Advisory Board member of Kansas State Olathe, and a board member of the Royal Association.
